This document explains what cookies are, which ones Sylvoriq uses, for what purpose and how you can manage them from your browser or from our preference panel.
1. What are cookies?
They are small text files that a website places on your device when you visit it. They are used to remember information between sessions, to measure aggregate usage or to show relevant messages on other platforms.
2. Consent Mode v2
We use Google's Consent Mode v2 to respect your consent choices. Before you interact with the banner, the parameters ad_storage, ad_user_data, ad_personalization, analytics_storage and personalization_storage are set to «denied». They are only updated to «granted» when you accept the corresponding category. We also apply ads_data_redaction and url_passthrough to strengthen privacy when consent is not fully granted.
3. Categories used
Strictly necessary cookies: guarantee basic and security functions. Functional cookies: remember preferences such as language. Analytics cookies: allow us to understand, in aggregate, how the site is used. Advertising cookies (Google Ads): activated only if you give explicit consent, to measure the performance of our campaigns.
4. How to manage them?
You can change your decision at any time from the «Manage cookies» link in the footer. In addition, most browsers allow you to delete or block cookies from their privacy options; note that disabling certain categories may affect your experience of the site.
5. Third parties
The identifiers used by Google Ads (AW-18064110603) and other tools are activated only after your consent. These providers may set their own cookies in accordance with their privacy policies, whose links we publish on the reference page.
6. Retention
The record of your consent decision is stored in your browser (localStorage) for a maximum of twelve (12) months. If you clear the storage, the banner will appear again to ask for your preference.
